Welcome to the Washington Island School Wish List

The following items are being requested by school staff to fund items or projects not currently budgeted in this year’s school budget.  We have been extremely fortunate to live in a community that has been supportive in the past and continues on a monthly basis to share its generosity.  Community individuals or organizations may wish to support a specific item or program from the list.  Also, if you may have additional questions please do not hesitate to contact the school.    

School Classroom Office Reading Writing & Storage Center Center & Carts    These carts are designed as a working center for students that includes small dry erase board for students to do individual work. Also includes storage bins to house student work and is on wheels for mobility in the elementary classrooms.  We are looking at purchasing 3 carts at a cost of $410 each or a total of $1230.

Kidney Shape Activity Table

This table is being requested at the middle school level.  This table is designed to allow the teacher to work with multiple students at a table with instructional ease.  We are looking at purchasing 1 table at a cost of $300.  

Stand Up Student Desk

These desks is being requested at the middle school level.  This desk allow the students to work at their desk standing up.  Ideal for learner that struggles to sit still at a traditional desk.  We are looking at purchasing 2 desks at a cost of $350 a piece or $700 total.

Bean Bag Chairs

These bean bag chairs are being requested at the middle school level.  These chairs will be used in the reading center within the room.  We are looking to purchase 2 of them at a cost of $35 each or $70 total.  

3 D Printer

The science room is requesting a Da Vinci mini Wireless 3D printer approx cost is $300
